Event Recap: AI Visibility With Columbus Realtors & Mortgage Mitch!

Thanks to all who joined us for a one hour lunch and learn session on August 13th, 2026 with Columbus REALTORS®, hosted by Mortgage Mitch! We chatted all about the way AI is changing how people search for information about buying and selling homes. Most importantly, we reviewed some of the key ways realtors can ensure they’re getting mentions and building authority when it comes to AI visibility.

At the end of our session, we took a look at the 30 day, 90 day, and 6 month+ plan recommended by Semrush for increasing AI visibility. You can check out the slides from that plan below.

QUICK WINS: Run a technical health check on your site using a free tool like Page Speed Insights; set up AI search monitoring using a tool like Semrush or just run the prompts through AI tools yourself for free; perform a content audit to see where you can add value such as updated data and stats, concrete decision-making details, and FAQs.

MEDIUM WINS: Start your community strategy by engaging in user generated content forums such as Reddit or Quora; create some “best of” blog content for areas where you hope to attract more clients (i.e. 5 Best Public Schools in Columbus, OH); create a review strategy that makes it easy for real life customers to leave reviews and be sure to comply with each platform’s review solicitation policy.

LONG TERM WINS: Develop media partnerships with local news outlets by pitching story ideas or reach out to a podcast in your niche to be a guest; publish some editorial-style opinionated content on a hot button topic in your industry; start building content clusters that center around a core topic in your niche.
